In-person claims at any of the Georgia Lottery claim centers require an appointment. Visit the Georgia Lottery website to schedule your appointment.
The Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport kiosks only process claims up to $25,000.
To claim a prize by mail, send the signed winning ticket, a completed claim form, and a copy of your ID and Social Security card to:

The Georgia Lottery gives winners 180 days from the date of the draw to claim their prizes.

You can’t purchase tickets by mail or over the phone. However, you can purchase tickets for Mega Millions, Powerball, Cash4Life, Cash 3, Cash 4, Cash Pop, Fantasy 5, and other digital games at the Georgia Lottery website or its mobile app.
Yes. Lottery winnings in Georgia are subject to state and federal income taxes. The Georgia Lottery also reports the names of winners of prizes above $600 to both the Georgia Department of Revenue and Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Visit our Tax Information section for more details.
You must be 18 or older to purchase and redeem lottery tickets.
Georgians can choose from Cash4Life, Jumbo Bucks Lotto, Fantasy 5, Cash 3, Cash 4, Georgia FIVE, Cash Pop, Powerball, and Mega Millions.
Winners of $250,000 or more may remain anonymous if they so choose. Information on winners of between $600 and $250,000 will be made available as public records.
